About the event
A fun and welcoming introduction to the world of acting! Acting Foundations is designed for ages 7–14 and focuses on learning the basics of theatre through a variety of fun, engaging theatre games and activities. Students will explore foundational acting skills such as confidence, communication, imagination, movement, voice, character, teamwork, and improvisation.
Each class will give students the opportunity to get up, play, create, and experiment in a relaxed and supportive environment. Through theatre games, improv exercises, and introductory acting activities, students will learn what it means to be an actor while developing skills they can use both onstage and in everyday life.
This is a great class for students who are brand new to theatre, as well as those who have some experience and want to build their confidence and strengthen their foundations. There is no final performance or show, the focus is simply on learning, playing, building skills,…
